How to get a good night's rest:

  • Here are a few ideas to help you get adaquate sleep at night: 

    Exercise Get 30 minutes of sustained exercise at some time during the day.

    Sunshine - Get 15 minutes of direct sunshine. This has been know to help re-set your internal clock.

    Vitamin D - Take 3,000 to 6,000 IU of Vitamin D. It may be possible to get adaquate sunshine if you are in the areas that get adaquate direct rays during the day. More on this coming..

    Calcium - Take adaquate Calcium each night. Take a form that is easily absorbed by your body. Avoid calcium carbonate as this is not readily available for your body to absorb.herbs are those that increase the power and function of the heart.  .

    Magnesium - Take magnesium citrate uponing retiring for the night.

    Lighting - Turn off all night lights in your sleeping area. The only wave length that has shown not to stimulate the brain to wakefulness is the red wave length. Avoid bright screens computer screens at least 30 minutes before bed-time.
